Experienced. Effective. Conservative.

Thank you very much for taking the time to visit my website.

stockport3Born in London, brought up in Kent by a British father and Brazilian mother and educated at an 11+ grammar school, I have lived and worked in countries around the world.

A dedicated Conservative member for nearly twenty years, I was proud to be the stockport2party’s candidate for Stockport at the 2015 and 2017 general elections – adding 2,000 extra votes to the party’s tally and securing our strongest electoral showing in the area for 25 years.

During the campaign, I championed a range of important issues, including urban regeneration, strengthening the town’s infrastructure and improving access to high quality education.  I was even persuaded to conquer my fear of heights and abseil off the Town Hall to raise money for local charities!

team4It’s a fascinating role that has allowed me to go to bat for British businesses in a range markets – from emerging democracies in the former Soviet Union to the Far East.  This work has only enhanced my belief in Britain’s role in the world as a champion of free trade, democracy and human rights – something we must continue to fight for post-Brexit.

pic121I’ve appeared on the Today Programme, the World at One, BBC News, Sky News, ITV News, Fox News, Bloomberg, MSNBC and CNN, as well as regularly contributing articles to newspapers and policy journals on foreign policy issues.
